Lately you may have noticed INNW ads in our local papers and on area billboards.  If Not Now, When? is a consumer awareness program sponsored by the Greater Lansing Association of Realtors in an effort to inform buyers of the merits of purchasing a home in our current real estate market.  If you have not had the opportunity to see the complete ad I have included a link to it here.

One of the main points of the INNW campaign is that the current real estate market in the Greater Lansing area is a buyers’ market, with a large number of reasonably-priced homes available for buyers.  A reasonable concern in a buyers’ market is when current owners should sell their homes.  What may not be clear from the advertisement is the economic advantage of moving to a larger home, where one’s savings as a buyer can more than make up for selling aggressively.

Home buyers who do not have a current home to sell are even better positioned in a buyers’ market.  Buying a first home can be a daunting prospect for many people, which accentuates the need for a qualified and caring advisor.

If you, a family member or a friend would like to know how the current market affects personal real estate goals I can provide professional consultation.  I specialize in working with first time buyers and I am available to sit down one-on-one to review the process of buying a home from start to finish.  If you have any questions about the local real estate market or your real estate needs don’t hesitate to contact me.
